Furthering energy collaboration, another MoU was signed between ADNOC and India Strategic Petroleum Reserve Limited to enhance strategic petroleum reserves. The agreements followed high-level talks between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in New Delhi. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and the UAE, acknowledging the significant progress made in recent years.

The two sides also discussed expanding cooperation in emerging sectors, such as artificial intelligence, critical minerals, green hydrogen, and advanced technologies. They noted the success of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and the Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT), which are expected to further accelerate economic ties.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi also met Indian President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where both leaders emphasized the strong people-to-people connection between the two countries. President Murmu expressed appreciation for the UAE’s friendship and reiterated the importance of maintaining these strong ties.

In addition to his official engagements, the Crown Prince visited Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. His visit marks another step toward enhancing the historic relationship between the UAE and India, with a renewed focus on mutual growth and cooperation. With the signing of these agreements, both countries are set to unlock new opportunities for collaboration, particularly in the energy sector and emerging technological fields.
